Mean Corpuscular Volume or
MCV is a measurement of red blood cell size.

MCH quantifies the amount of hemoglobin in each cell. When combined they give anemia the following classification.

Small cells are called microcytic.
Normocytic (normal cells).
Macrocytic or big cells.
